Keeping Things Clean With Bill Flores

Inside is a small box of Mr. Clean magic erasers.

So I sent a small package to Bill Flores, which he received on February 9th, as a token of my desire to start anew. There had been a flurry of activity on this blog and I had been in touch with Bill, and figured this token would bring a new beginning. In fact, I sent the package the same day I spoke with Bill.

People in sales will recognize the practice.

Usually sent by a salesperson who has gotten off on the wrong foot with a prospective client, a small box of laundry soap or other cleaner is sent to the potential client with a small note attached, reading something like, “Here’s to a clean start,” or “I hope we can make a fresh start,” or something similar.

You can see a short video that shows the actual item I sent with the inscription here.

It’s a gentle peace offering that says “We both probably screwed up a bit, and I want to put that behind us.”

I have some very good professional relationships that came about because of that practice, and some have blossomed into very close friendships.

Mr. Flores’ campaign manager said the box was received and appreciated.

I haven’t heard from the campaign yet, though I was promised I would, as I have mentioned elsewhere.

The reason why I am sharing this with you now will reveal itself over the next few weeks. I’m going to take you on a journey of conversations and lies a person intimate with the situation has asked me to share. And, because that person wants you to know who they are, I will share that with you then, as well. Most likely, you will find out at the same time the Flores Campaign finds out, if this person has been telling me the truth about their involvement.

Let me get this straight. You made the entire focus of your blog from late December to mid February to attack Flores. You then sent out a letter a couple of weeks before the primary to ask for an hour long interview. Flores talked to you. His campaign manager talked to you. Flores can’t arrange an hour long, face to face interview right before the primary occurs. That type of thing happens in politics.

Regardless, you continue to attack and threaten Flores leading up to the runoff.

Why can’t you just grow up?

    • Thanks for chiming in again, Will.

You dad said he would do the interview.

Matt Mackowiak said it would occur.

Both of them said the discussions we had that you are referring to were not the interview.

My request for the interview is very accommodating.

The “entire focus” of my blog “from late December to mid February” wasn’t “to attack Flores.” In fact…

Of the 57 posts from December through today…
…Only 17 concern your dad directly

Of the 31 posts during the time frame you mention…
…Only 14 concern your dad directly, and those are my questions and my reports on interactions with him, your mom, and Matt Mackowiak.

      I’m including my Examiner articles.

Hardly does that make for the “entire focus” of my blog. Entire being 100%, I’m nowhere near that.

I haven’t made threats. That’s a serious charge I invite you to back up with citation.

I haven’t attacked your dad. I just ask questions that he refuses to answer.

So you didn’t get it straight. Not much at all, actually.

You do keep providing me more things to write about, though.

      Thanks!

      Cheers!
