So Bill Flores Tweets on July 22nd the following:
This was an auto-Tweet from this status update on Flores’ official campaign Facebook Page. The incumbent discussion shows that Flores supporters are completely unaware that their man is speaking as a hypocrite.
Rangel invested $42,000 in Chet Edwards’ campaign. You can see contributions from his PAC to Edwards here, at least as far back as 1998.
George Soros invested in Bill Flores’ company to the tune of owning 1/7th of Phoenix Exploration by the time the deal was done. That’s an investment of millions of dollars (the exact figure isn’t available, but Flores has admitted to Soros owning that fraction) in a $100 million investment search Phoenix completed.
The simple question, then, is will Flores give back to George Soros the millions of dollars the billionaire gave to Flores’ company?
The money trail?
Rangel’s PAC gives $ to Chet’s Campaign that was received by the PAC through it’s association with Rangel. Chet’s Campaign will use that money to further the interests of Chet Edwards. Flores wants him to return it or doante it to charity.
Soros’ Company gives $ to Flores’ Company that was received by the Soros’ Company through it’s association with Soros: Flores’ Company used that money to further the interests of Bill Flores. Would Chet be in the right to expect Flores to return the money based on Bill’s own standards?
This is a question Chet will ask if Bill brings up Rangel. Guilt by association works both ways.
And remember, this is not the first time Bill wants to hold someone else to a standard he himself is not willing to be accountable to.
Personally, I think giving the money to charity or whatever is just a sham on both sides. It doesn’t erase the affiliation, and both of these men hang out with people you and I wouldn’t dream of allowing in our living rooms.
Here’s hoping we elect a real Conservative some day!
