Below is the open letter I just delivered via email to City of College Station Mayor Nancy Berry. It outlines the reasons why the City should immediately remove Judy LeUnes as a representative of College Station on the Brazos Animal Shelter, Inc. (BAS) board.
I originally wrote this letter for delivery to Ms. Berry on October 12. Family circumstances caused me to put it on hold. Since College Station is discussing BAS board appointments tomorrow night as an agenda item at their regular council meeting, I thought it important to send and publish this now.
As of Monday, 24 October 2011, Judy LeUnes resigned her position with BAS. We will provide that letter of resignation to you soon, but this was important to report while we wait for the open records process to take its course.
This plays out multiple ways. I think, if you are at all considering voting for Ms. LeUnes for Texas 14 House Of Representatives, that you should seriously consider the facts and forthcoming documents before you pull that lever. Ms. LeUnes is relying on a sympathetic animal loving community to elevate her to a runoff election, and she does not want you to know what I know…and what the BAS Board, Staff, and Bryan City Council and Staff know. And now, the City of College Station knows, though they are just as quick to tell those who will listen in private that they have known about Ms. LeInes for quite some time.
In short, she is not who you think she is.
